Round trip through the Emirates: explore Dubai by car
Modern metropolises, deserted desert towns and sunny beaches, the United Arab Emirates have much to offer. Start your roundtrip in your hire picked up in Dubai with a visit to Abu Dhabi, where the fastest roller coaster in the world awaits you.
On your trip to the desert town of Al Ain you will experience the endless expanse of the desert. Follow the E 66 motorway to get to Dubai by car.
The larger trunk routes in the Emirates are well maintained, the dead straight road sections lead through imposing landscapes. Detours to the sights of the region are possible - for example to the Sharjah National Park with its wide green expanses and a zoo.
By hire car from Dubai to the oasis of Hatta
Many excursion destinations can only be reached on organised tours or by hire car. A hire car in Dubai allows you to explore the most beautiful places of the Emirates at your pace when you like. In addition to the World Cultural Heritage Site of Al Ain, you can also visit the desert town of Hatta, where you can experience traditional life. The mountainous landscape of the region is impressive, dotted with white houses and blue lakes.
Experience the secrets of the desert and let your mind wander under palm trees. From the car rental office in Dubai you can reach Hatta via Oman directly via the E 44 motorway.
Excursion to Fujairah by car from Dubai
To the east of the Hadjar Mountains lies the small Emirate of Fujairah on the Gulf of Oman.
Unlike in Abu Dhabi or Dubai, life here is more traditional, evidenced, for instance, by the colourful markets of the city. In Fujairah visit the sand-coloured fort and the great mosque of Bidiya. The region around Fujairah is famous for its gold-coloured deserts and the turquoise waters in the Gulf of Oman.
From the car rental office in Dubai drive along the E 102 and E 84 to Fujairah. On the way back, head along the coast towards Ras Al-Khaimah.
