Aqua fun in Zurich: by car to the biggest water and fun park in Europe
The largest water and fun park in Europe, Alpamare, lies in Pfäffikon on the south side of Lake Zurich. Eleven water slides, several themed pools and a huge wellness area await visitors of all ages. Aqua-wellness, aqua-fitness, aqua-cycling, swimming courses, almost everything in the Alpamare revolves around water.
A highlight in the Alpamare fun park is the IceXpress, a 158-metre-long water slide with 11 hairpin bends and a 17-metre total drop. It takes only 30 seconds to reach the end of rapid, adrenaline-rushing ride through the ice tube. Good that there are also many restaurants and rest areas in the Alpamare for “chilling” afterwards.
