Johannesburg - Kruger National Park
Pick up your hire car and get to know South Africa. Head east to Nelspruit. Explore Blyde River Canyon or go on an adventure tour through Kruger National Park. Day 2 will take you to the panorama road that follows Blyde River Canyon; this is where you begin exploring Kruger National Park.
Kruger National Park - Swaziland
Day 3 is pure Kruger Park. Get to know South Africa close up in a hire car. Join a game drive to experience wild life from a different angle. Day 4: Drive from Kruger National Park via Jeppes Reef towards Swaziland and begin your first game viewing.
Swaziland - Saint Lucia
Day 5 allows you to relax, watch and explore. View animals and examine plants close up from your lodge. Day 6 leads to St Lucia on the Indian Ocean. Here you can admire crocodiles and hippos and take “intimate” wildlife photos.
St. Lucia - Hluhluwe
After an exciting river cruise on St Lucia Lake, you head off on the short drive from the wetland reserve to Hluhluwe. On Day 8, discover the two sections of the national park. Explore the park on your own in your own hire car and join in the evening game drives. The Hluhluwe National Park is also well-known for its black and white rhinoceros populations.
Hluhluwe - Durban
Today the trip goes to Durban. The approximately 270 kilometres are easily covered. Various intermediate stops invite you to picnic and linger, especially in the Umlalazi Nature Reserve. Day 10 takes you from Durban to the beautiful Royal Natal National Park in the Drakensberg Mountains.
Royal Natal NP - Johannesburg
You can go on your own on foot, or join a guided walk, either way you will be awed by the impressive mountain world. Enjoy the panorama of the amazing natural phenomenon aptly called the Amphitheatre. This fantastic mountain formation is one of the highlights of this beautiful national park. Return to Johannesburg on day 12 and drop off your hire car at the car rental station.
